How the Cancellation Policy Works on Bookerty

Bookerty provides a standard cancellation policy while also offering the option to create a customized cancellation policy to meet the diverse needs and preferences of each Host.

Standard Cancellation Policy:

Refunds for Guests:

  • 100% refund: If the cancellation is made at least 7 days before check-in.

  • 50% refund: If the cancellation is made between 7 days and 72 hours before check-in.

  • No refund: If the cancellation is made less than 72 hours before check-in.

Compensation for Hosts:

  • No compensation: If the cancellation is made more than 7 days before check-in.

  • 50% compensation: If the cancellation is made between 7 days and 72 hours before check-in.

  • 100% payment: If the cancellation is made less than 72 hours before check-in.

Cancellation Fees by Bookerty:

  • Non-refundable cancellation fee: Bookerty retains a small, non-refundable cancellation fee of €10 for every booking canceled by Guests.

** In Offer System and Auction System cancellations are also prohibited.

Custom Cancellation Policy:

Hosts can create their own cancellation policy for greater flexibility:

  • For Apartments, Villas, etc.: Customized Cancellation Policy available at €49.99/year.

  • For Hotels: Customized Cancellation Policy available at €99.99/year.

With the Customized Cancellation Policy, Hosts can freely define:

  • The time frame within which Guests are allowed to cancel their bookings (1–365 days before check-in).

  • The percentage of the booking amount refunded to Guests (0%–100%).

The Customized Cancellation Policy gives Hosts full control over their bookings, while ensuring that Guests are provided with clear and transparent terms.

Important Notes:

  • Booking payments are held by Bookerty and released to Hosts 24 hours after check-in, provided there are no disputes.

  • Non-refundable cancellation fee: Bookerty retains a small, non-refundable cancellation fee of €10 for every booking canceled by Guests, except for phone bookings.

  • Cancellations are prohibited: In the Offer System and Auction System.

  • Cancellation policies must be clearly displayed in the listing for each property, ensuring full transparency for both Hosts and Guests.

With Bookerty’s cancellation options, Hosts can choose the model that works best for them, while Guests benefit from straightforward and fair policies.
