How the Bookerty Review System Works

Bookerty has designed a comprehensive and transparent review system to ensure that all users—Hosts and Guests—have the best possible experience on the platform. Reviews serve as an incentive for improvement and help build trust among platform users.

Two Distinct Review Categories

User reviews are divided into two categories:

  • Host Reviews: Focus on the Guest’s experience with the Host and the property during their stay.

  • Guest Reviews: Focus on the Guest’s behavior during their stay at the Host’s property.

Each user can have separate ratings and reviews for each role, which appear in the respective sections of their profile and in each listing to guide other users’ decisions.

Key Review Categories

For Hosts:

Guests rate Hosts based on five key criteria:

  • Cleanliness: The level of cleanliness of the property.

  • Communication: The speed and quality of communication.

  • Listing Accuracy: Whether the property matched its description.

  • Amenities/Facilities: The quality and functionality of the property’s amenities.

  • Value for Money: How justified the price was compared to the experience.

For Guests:

Hosts rate Guests based on four key criteria:

  • Communication: How clear and cooperative the Guests were.

  • Respect for the Property: Whether they treated the property and its environment with respect.

  • Check-In/Check-Out Punctuality: Whether they adhered to the agreed check-in and check-out times.

  • Overall Experience: Their general behavior and attitude.

Submitting a Review

  • Users can submit reviews up to 30 days after check-out.

  • Both Hosts and Guests can publicly respond to reviews, allowing them to address negative feedback, thank users for positive comments, or provide clarifications about their experience.

  • Users can report inappropriate reviews, which will be reviewed by Bookerty’s team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all users.

Incentives and Rewards

Bookerty rewards its users for quality and consistency by offering unique privileges. Positive reviews can help you earn Badges such as Top Rated Host or Top Rated Guest. These badges enhance your credibility and visibility in search results, increasing the likelihood of bookings or acceptance of your offers.
